Meteron 1576 Case: Swiss crafted 41mm diameter stainless steel case with domed 1.5 mm thick sapphire crystal on top and flat 1.5 mm thick sapphire crystal on the see-thru screw off back. Case is water-resistant to 50 meters. Lug size is 20 mm and furnished with the genuine Swiss hand made ostrich strap. Dial: Three layer mother of pearl dial containing 14 separate pieces. First layer is a thin metal plate milled from a piece of flat stock. Second layer is the dark mother of pearl plate hand carved from a sea shell and polished to a mirror quality surface. Third layer is CNC machined, hand finished covered with meteorite dust. Eleven polished brass rivets are used as hour markers. Hands: Hour and minute hands are individually milled from a steel stock and hand finished. |
